Privacy and file retention

Buyers upload tax returns here. This is how we protect them, and how you delete them.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email, and sign-in information.
Deal details you enter: role, industry, prices, answers to questions.
Files you or a broker you invite upload: tax returns, financial statements, bank statements, customer lists, and similar records.
Payment records from our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
Basic technical data such as IP address and browser, used for security and fraud prevention.

To build your screen and report, answer your questions, and email you when the report is ready.
Your files and deal details are sent to our AI analysis provider only to produce your report. They are not used to train public AI models by us.
We build de-identified deal statistics (industry, city and state, prices, earnings, multiples, grades, red flags, whether an LOI was drafted). We may combine them with other deals into benchmarks that we use and publish. We do not sell or license them. These never include names, emails, phone numbers, business names, street addresses, tax ID numbers, or your files. Your uploaded files are never sold or shared.
To process payments, send receipts, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Only you. Files are stored privately and encrypted, and are never shared through public links.
People you invite to upload can add files but cannot open or download any.
LiteQoE staff may access a deal only to provide support you request or to investigate abuse.

We keep your files and report until you delete them, so you can re-run the screen or update it after new files arrive.
You decide. From your home page you can delete just the uploaded files (your finished report stays) or delete the whole deal.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. Copies in routine backups are overwritten within 30 days.
If you want your whole account removed, contact us and we will delete it and all its deals.

Payment and receipt records, your signed agreement record, and promo code usage records, which we must keep for tax, legal, and fraud-prevention purposes.
The de-identified deal statistics described above, which cannot be traced back to you.
