Security

Our highest priority is keeping your deal secure.

You trust us with tax returns, bank statements and numbers a seller shared under NDA. We treat every one of them as confidential. Your files are encrypted, they are visible only to you, and we will never share or sell your information.

Encrypted uploads

Every file is protected on the way to us and while it is stored.

Files travel over an encrypted connection (HTTPS with TLS), the same protection banks use online.
Once stored, files are encrypted at rest (AES-256) by our storage provider.
Files are kept in private storage. There are no public links, and nothing can be found by guessing a web address.
When you or our system need to open a file, a short-lived private link is created and expires within minutes.

Private to your account

Your deal, your files and your report belong to you alone.

Each deal is locked to the account that created it. Database rules check every request, so other customers cannot see your deals, even by accident.
Brokers or sellers you invite can only add files to your deal. They can never open, download or see what is already there.
Upload invites expire after 30 days, and you can stop sharing at any time.
Sign in with Google or a password. Sessions are tied to your account and expire on their own.
You can delete your uploaded files, or the whole deal, from your home page whenever you want.

Payments by Stripe

We never see or store your card number.

Checkout runs on Stripe, a payment processor used by millions of businesses and certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of card security.
Your card details go straight to Stripe. LiteQoE only receives a confirmation that the payment went through.
Receipts come from Stripe, and refunds are handled through Stripe as well.

Our commitments to you

We never share or sell your information: We do not sell, rent or trade your files, your deal details or your contact information. We never send your documents to the seller, the broker, advertisers or anyone else. Advertisers on our site never receive anything about you or your deal.
Your documents are not used to train AI: Your documents are read by AI only to prepare your report, through business services that do not use customer data to train their models. Nobody outside LiteQoE reads your files.
Our statistics never identify you: To improve our screens we keep broad, de-identified numbers, like industry and revenue range. They never include names, contacts, business names or files, and they can't be traced back to you.
Limited access inside LiteQoE: Only a small number of staff can access support tools, and only to help with a problem you raised. We do not browse customer files.
Confidentiality and NDAs: Many deals come with an NDA. We treat every file you upload as confidential, so you can screen a deal without putting your NDA at risk.
You stay in control: Delete files or deals at any time. Once deleted, they are removed from our storage and can't be recovered by us or anyone else.
If something ever goes wrong: If we ever learn that your information was exposed, we will tell you quickly and explain what happened and what we are doing about it.
